The Butterfly Effect has been confirmed for the BIG DAY OUT 2009. They join a massive line-up including The Arctic Monkeys, Neil Young, Tv On The Radio & Serj Tankian to name a few of the international acts. As well as local acts The Living End, Cog, The Grates and Cut Copy to name a few.
Lead singer from the band Clint Boge has said, "As a young musician the Big Day Out has always been a world class festival with world class acts. Some of my most memorable years of my life have kicked off with the Big Day Out! The band and myself are stoked to be added to the line-up".

Fresh from a massive tour of Australia, The Butterfly Effect will take a short break, unwrap their Christmas presents and hit the road again announcing more dates on the Old Places, Old Faces, New Stories Tour. After their SOLD OUT tour of the major cities The Butterfly Effect will do what they do best keep touring, hitting regional towns on the east coast! Its been a massive 3 months for the band with their new album "Final Conversations Of Kings" debuting at #3 on the national Aria charts and receiving solid support for the current single "The Window And The Watcher" on all radio and TV networks across the country. 2009 is set to be another huge year for the band with overseas touring plans in the works and of course more touring in Australia. If the last tour was any indication these shows will sell fast and will be not worth missing!
